Business law refers to the laws that apply to business entities, such as, sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations. As you can imagine, businesses interact in varied ways. There are too many to list, but to name a few, there are contracts, commercial leasing, mergers and acquisitions, etc. How these transactions are carried out is governed by Business Law. Additionally, how businesses are formed is an aspect of Business law. The area of Business Law is wide-ranging and largely concentrates on defining the rights and responsibilities of businesses.
